"We were called quite early when the owners are still discussing plans with architects and interior designers," said Nikki Davis from Kitchen Architecture, which designed the kitchen. "We did not change anything in the room we were given." Instead, Davis worked with this dramatic space to make a beautiful kitchen that complements the background while also perfectly suits contemporary family life.

A beautiful glass extension built several offsite 1.5m rear glass structure that exists. The whole house has been modernized and redesigned by architect James Cows in David Snell and the interiors were designed by Amanda Durham Interior Design .

"The owners originally wanted unit on this wall, but the design becomes very kitchen-like, if you know what I mean! The unit looked too heavy on the wall. So instead we keep it clean and softened with a shelf in different materials."

A glass wall on the floor above means you can look down at the kitchen. "We could have designed the unit to look presentable from the top," Davis said, "but with the rack, the owners have the option to decorate as much or as little as they like, to add interest."

A neat table in oak veneer structured added at the end of term low cabinet with small drawers next to it to save the document owner and children's homework. "Laptops can adjust, as well, so the whole room table can really freshen up," Davis said.

Thanks to an abundance of innovative glass, kitchen and dining room flooded with light. Pendant hangs on the island and industrial spots, which can rotate and be directed to where they are needed, mounted on the ceiling. "The owner said he almost did not use them though, because it was so light here already," said Davis.
The kitchen has UV protection, which helps in the room as bright, full of light. "This means everything is pretty tough," said Davis.

Fitting the extractor on the induction cooker is a challenge, because the height of the ceiling. "We had it made special," said Davis. "It blends with pendant lamp beside it."
