this Victorian house has a 50/50 split between front and rear, which means that the front of house was exactly half a floor higher than the rear of the building. Robinson decided to maximize the unique opportunity to create something unusual for a family.

one of the main challenges for this project is the structure. "It was quite tricky," said Robinson. "We took some of the major pieces of the structure, and for a split level, we were limited in where we could place the new structure, so we had to get the steel in a pretty dodgy. The middle column is the key, "he added.

"We do not want to destroy the fact that it is a Victorian house," Robinson said, and the rest of the property is much more period in style, dark color the walls are quite comfortable, and the owners' furniture give a traditional feel.
