fridge-freezer sits in the housing being built, with cornicing that matches the rest of the kitchen. A walnut shelf above the refrigerator is the perfect place to store the recipe book.
The door to the utility room in-between the larder and refrigerator. "We are thinking whether to swap the fridge door and more, so as to keep the unit all together," says the designer. "But in a busy household, it makes sense to leave a gap between the two. People can now access the larder and fridge separately without getting each other's way."

Another shelf above offer plenty of space for a packet of cereal and tall bottles and wine rack and the rack doors add to the functionality of the closet. "I believe pantries should be practical and beautiful," said Burke. "I want them to be considered as part of the furniture in their own right."

sandstone worktop has been given a square edge along the back wall and finished slant on the island. It adds character to the island and formed a relationship with the skirting board (pictured below).

Most of the units in this kitchen drawers instead of cupboards contain. "Laci is a much better use of closet space, as you can access the entire region." Burke explained. "Often the cabinets, you only use the front and ignore things that are stored in the back."
Burke makes the window seat of poplar wood, and painted to match the cabinets. It provides a comfortable place to sit, and also hide the radiator.

Walnut is features throughout the kitchen, inside drawers and cabinets, on shelves and even on the floor. engineered flooring boards, with varnish finish, contrasting beautifully with the light walls and wood.

Both sides fireplace, Burke include glass-fronted cabinets with interior lighting. "The lights look great when they are lit walnuts in," he enthuses. He decided to bring along an entire wall by inserting a smaller version of the glass-fronted cabinets for the storage of food. At night, the lit-up cabinets provide a comfortable light from one end of the room to the other.

closet simple on each side of the oven is the perfect place for spices, oils and any other essentials you will need when cooking. Burke has made full use of them with extra shelves attach to the inside of the door.

charging drawer this handy comprises a rack that sits on top of a charging unit. "I usually find out what the needs of the client first, and the design of appropriate niche," said Burke.
