owners do not want to take the chimney breast. "There is something similar in the dining room next door, so as to provide symmetry," explained Rumble. "It can also be costly to remove the chimney breast." So it makes sense for the range slot in it and put a sink under the window.
"The early part of the design can be very easy," says Rumble. "It then fit the other elements in the tougher! It's about making sure you still have the symmetry and plenty of storage space is very limited in space."

"We are very focused on having something at the bottom of the window to create a symmetry," says Rumble , "Then we want to maximize the rest of the room without making it look crowded."

The wooden shutters are attractive original features. They pulled to hide the window and then fold in behind each other. "They brought some natural wood tones into space," says Rumble. "The wall and the cabinet color should tie in with it."

owners choose rich , dark gray to cabinets and walls. "It's the color of Flint distance of our bathroom," says Rumble. "This is not the standard color for our kitchen, but the owner was split between soft gray and very dark blue and this seemed like a natural, in the shade to go for." Warm brass handles shining out gently from the dark background.

Open shelves built on either side of the chimney breast. "We want to make the big features," says Rumble. Shelves are designed to be slightly higher than the run of cabinets on the opposite side. "Thanks to the dark color, this difference is not visible and the height of vertical and horizontal lines are not so clear."

worktop The, various splashback and upright is a 30mm-thick marble. He has honed rather than polished finish, chosen by the owner for its matt appearance. "Marble is not quite hard-wearing as a composite or man-made stone such as granite," says Rumble. "It's naturally porous material, so it can be scratched and stained, but it was very beautiful."

Block A meat bespoke to suit a variety of functions. It is equipped with wheels so that it can be moved, and offers space in which to perch with coffee. It also contains rubbish and long drawer. "Not many other places in the kitchen drawer," Rumble said, "and there is also not very clear space for trash, so we installed them here too."

The larder lit spacious internally and has sockets, so the microwave and other appliances can be permanently installed and used in it.

"When there the middle window was wonderful, it was nice to fit under the sink in there, "says Rumble. window provides a view of the garden square at the front of the house.
